Toad’s Caravan and collaborator Bauholz have been busy creating a website for The Tin Forest, an exciting project brought to Glasgow by the National Theatre of Scotland as part of the The Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme.

The Tin Forest is a performance and art focussed cultural project inspired by the same-titled book by Helen Ward and Wayne Anderson, which aims to tell the story of Glasgow’s industrial past, present and future. In addition to Glasgow’s story, ten international youth theatre productions from across the commonwealth have also been invited to perform their own piece, resulting in a series of multicultural stories told to an international audience in Glasgow’s newly reinvented South Rotunda.

A multitude of performances taking place across the city will lead up to the opening event at the South Rotunda on 22nd July, all of which will showcase speakers, singers and performers from the Glasgow and international community. Productions will continue into August, even including a puppet show from Toad friend Gavin Glover of PotatoRoom Productions.
